Discover a wide range of activities

There is nowhere better to discover the extraordinary than in the Zittau Mountains Nature Park. Here you can be active, but also find relaxation. Venture into Germany's most eastern low mountain range and conquer its peaks! The curiously formed sandstone rocks will delight everyone from family groups with young or older children, to leisurely walkers and ambitious sportspersons.   Take a closer look and try to spot the famous rock formations of the “Tortoise“, the “Pipe organ”, and the “Tea pot“!

Transgressing borders in the tripoint area

Enjoy pure relaxation in Saxony's youngest nature park. Picturesque spa towns with quaint little villages waiting to be explored.  You will find true historical and cultural gems here in the southern part of Upper Lusatia in the historic cities of Zittau, Löbau and Herrnhut. The tripoint area is the geographical meeting point of Germany with its neighbours, the Czech Republic and Poland. If you feel like getting to know our neighbour's culture and cuisine, then cross-border hiking trails and bicycle routes will take you directly to them.

Holidays for disabled travellers

Disabled travellers can also have a relaxing and carefree holiday in the Zittau Mountains Nature Park. We will gladly provide individual recommendations on accessible transport, accommodation, gastronomy, sights and hikes.
